The aim of this site is to re-unite the Buckley family of Ashton-under-Lyne, Lancashire. My research reaches back to Samuel Buckley who married Betty Jackson in 1823. My family extends from one of their sons, Joseph (b1836), and it's this story I am researching.
Joseph Buckley of Daisy Nook fame
Joseph became known as "Owd Ab" and was a popular photographer in
Daisy Nook
He died in 1903 leaving three sons to carry on the family name. Are you
related in any way?
